Our house guest

For a few months last year, my aunt Dorothy lived with my family and I in Morristown, NJ. She became like a grandma to our girls, with whom she graciously shared a bathroom. As I prepared dinners, I’d laugh at myself – texting her to say dinner was ready instead of going up the stairs to tell her. But we loved having her there!

Dorothy once took my oldest daughter to a horse show to help run scores. I think that will always be one of her best memories – she definitely inherited the horse-loving gene from Dorothy (and her grandma, Diane)!

We will miss her and her horsey influence tremendously!

Aunt Dorothy works with her nephew-in-law and his dog who has no horse sense!
